KBE Solar Cable certified to EN 50618 for direct burial

From October 2017 on the new mandatory European solar cable norm EN 50618 will replace preceding TÜV certification of cables constructed according to PV1-F type. That is why we have developed and certified the new KBE solar cable DB EN 50618.

In order to meet the highest functional requirements like direct burial or resistance to water we have accomplished additional ambitious test procedures to prove quality and durability to our customers.

The KBE solar cable DB EN 50618 offers a wide range of advantages in comparison to common solar cables: 

• Certified to EN 50618 (H1Z2Z2-K)
• Designed for 1.500V (yet 1.000V)
• Direct burial through high-quality insulation
• Higher resistance to water and better insulation resistance
• Higher mechanical stability
