Construction Products Regulation (CPR)

All cables and lines that are permanently installed in the building have been subject to the European Construction Products Regulation (CPR) since 10th June 2016. These cables and wires are classified according to their reaction to fire in European fire classes. The German construction law currently does not specify which fire classes of cables are to be used. Only "normal flammable" cables are required, this corresponds at least to the class E_ca.

Conformity with the Construction Products Regulation includes a Declaration of Performance (DoP) as the basis for CE marking for all products placed on the market since  1^st of July 2013.
